As a recognised market leader in dental technology, DentureTech was a thriving business.  But along with this success came a number of challenges, not the least of which was the rest of the market constantly biting at their heels.

 Prior to working with Full Focus

Operating out of their garage in the early years, Vicki and Chris Pine’s dental technology business had grown from very humble beginnings.   Through sheer determination and hard work they had earned their position as industry-leaders, and they were very interested in keeping it.

When we were first introduced to Vicki and Chris by their Accountant, they were operating out of their business premises in Albany, with satellite clinics in Henderson and Orewa.  They were professional, smart and very successful.  But Vicki and Chris had a desire to do better.  Wanting to take DentureTech to the next level, they engaged Full Focus to help them take their business from where it was, to where they wanted it to be.

 What we did

Initially we put together a very specific and custom designed plan for Vicki and Chris.  One that would be actioned over a 100 day period. 

Firstly, we needed to identify exactly where Vicki and Chris were headed – what they perceived as being the ideal future for themselves and their business.  We started out on a strategic planning exercise which incorporated a vision for Vicki and Chris personally (this was key given their joint involvement in DentureTech). 
With the combined input of their team, we then created a corporate vision that would take DentureTech Ltd into the future.  From there, we identified a Strategic Priorities Plan that could be systematically implemented.  The Plan was set in motion and we worked alongside Vicki to incrementally achieve the desired outcomes – moving them step by step towards the vision they had for their business.

Throughout the process we came across obstacles and issues that needed to be dealt with before we could move forward.  We worked together with Vicki & Chris to quickly overcome things such as staffing issues, team buy-in, clinicians sales skills etc.

A personal stocktake was conducted for Vicki and Chris to ensure they had the legal and financial structures they needed, that they worked hand in hand with what they were looking to achieve, and safeguarded them should any unforeseen circumstances arise.  Any issues were pointed out and quickly rectified.

This exercise also highlighted their financial arrangements as being less than perfect.  We set about customising a financial package that provided Vicki and Chris with optimum benefits both for themselves and their business.

At Vicki's and Chris’s request, we took on launching their new and industry-leading development – gender-specific dentures (EuroTech and EuroStyle).  The launch function was a huge success and Euro Dentures have consistently proved themselves in the marketplace since then.
