Are you missing these 3 important steps as you finish 2011?
Mid December and not much of 2011 left. Some of us will be well into the ritual of Christmas parties, others will be head down, bum up, hands still on the tools rushing to finish that last job before 25th December. Whatever else is going on, there are 3 important things you need to do --
1. Congratulate yourself
Make sure you take a moment to contemplate your achievements during the year. If you had some specific goals you wanted to accomplish, then dig that list out of wherever it’s hiding and tick them off. Job well done!
Perhaps you accomplished some milestones in your business this year, or are well on the way to seeing some important objectives come to fruition. Don’t forget to let those people important to you know what you’ve accomplished. Spread the celebration around.
2. Acknowledge your team
It’s important you take the time to celebrate the wins, especially with your team. Especially at this time of the year. Your team is one of your greatest assets. Acknowledge them for the part they played in it.
3. Set yourself up for a win in 2012
If you can’t think of anything to congratulate yourself about, then now might be a good time to make sure you‘ll be congratulating yourself in December next year. What will it take to ensure that happens?
